LOOK HOW FAR WE HAVE COME DURING OUR SUMMER BREAK. 🌈🎹🌈🎹

To keep pupils motivated during the summer break I set a RAINBOW REPERTOIRE CHALLENGE. They wrote the name of their favourite piece in every cloud and each time they played the whole page, they coloured in a band on their rainbow. It gave them a great sense of achievement.

Ayaan worked hard on his grade 1 scales and pieces and will now be ready to take his grade 1 this November.

Benjamin worked hard on his tutor book pieces and really cemented his note reading skills and keyboard geography.

Jack charged full speed ahead and finished his chart in record time. He particularly loved playing Oompa Loompa.

Eli wizzed through his repertoire list and included his own favourite arrangements and compositions.

Alice was happy to be coming back into lessons after her summer break with a completed rainbow chart. It meant she hadn’t forgotten a single thing and moved swiftly and easily on to her next pieces.

Two of my adults Angela and Karen completed the challenge, and so did I!

It was great revisiting old pieces as well as trying some new ones too. Well done everyone 👏🎹👏

We’re now heading towards our Christmas repertoire challenge just in time for our annual concert in December.

Let’s see if we can get everyone to complete this next challenge.  Are you in?
